1.      Programmer Analysts:

  Responsibilities:

·         Organizing information about a problem to be addressed or a procedure to be improved.

·         Proposing recommendations to management through presentations or written reports.

·         Interviewing personnel and conducting onsite observations to determine the equipment, methods and personnel needed.                                                                   

·         Analyzing financial and other data, including expenditure, revenue, and employment reports

 Education:  Organizations prefer hiring candidates with a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Business Administration or a related field.

·         Referring difficult cases to support technicians or a senior analyst

·         Taking over control of a customer’s computer remotely to resolve issues

·         Making recommendations to employees or customers for hardware changes when a computer cannot support a particular software

         Salary:  salary range from $7.25 to $40.05 per hour

  Requirements:

Education:  Employers may require a high school diploma and computer training. Some other employers may require a bachelor’s degree in information systems and computer science.

Training:  Technical support specialists can acquire training in internships.   Training may last for weeks or months, depending on the complexity of the role, product, and the size of the company.

 Skills:

Problem-solving:  Technical support specialists must be able to identify computer problems perform any necessary research and identify a solution.

Customer service:   technical support specialists need the patience to deal with frustrated customers. They also need good customer service skills to solve problems quickly and make sure that the customer is happy with the results.

·         Performing maintenance to existing systems by identifying and correcting errors or defects

·         Creating operational manuals and systems specifications

·         Consulting with project managers or clients on the progress of developing software to review possible suggestions, improvements, or requirements

 

   Salary:   salary range from $31,000 to $214,000 per year.

   Requirements:

 Education:  Software developers can earn a master’s degree and obtain a management role. After graduation increase their potential earning.

Training:  Software developer updated with new developments attending training courses, and online classes. Companies may also provide job training about specific products or services they offer

  Skills:

Communication:  Software developers must be able to convey ideas, and information and communicate with others clearly. And explain to clients how to software works.
